We were together for a day and a half (wish it had been longer) I have visited and toured many wine regions— this. Informative, professional, and oh yes – the wines, was the tops. Tracy did a wonderful job in matching my interests and then providing top notch recommendations.

Tracy took us on a great day out! Beautiful locations. She was very accommodating of the fact that we had 2 tired children. She was friendly, informative and gave us the perfect amount of free time at each location. We had a lovely lunch together in Flavigny which we would never have tackled on our own without speaking French. We learnt so much in our day together. A must do tour!

She is an Expert in the Burgundy wines. Her selection of wineries was broad and perfect for a first time overall experience. Learned so much. Can even read French wine labels now and able to judge prices. Although we have taken tasting courses and toured California, Oregon, and New Zealand tasting wines we stilled learned a great deal about wine tasting from Tracy. She is a native English speaker and has a wonderful open personality. Our short visit was maximized by her experience. Highly recommend

My wife and I were very pleased with the tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided a comprehensive overview of the Burgundy wine region. We learned far more than anticipated. The pace of the tour was comfortable and we were given access to a number of excellent wineries where we met some very gracious owners.

Tracy- we have arrived back in Indiana safely and I wanted to thank you for your assistance.  Your knowledge and caring truly made our experience most memorable.   Our trip to Beaune has been a long time dream of N’s and your efforts made that dream and reality that she will long remember as she feels much closer to her French roots and family.  I hope our paths will cross again.  Thank you so much.

We had booked both the wine tasting tour and the historical tour of Beaune on two consecutive days and Tracy contacted us ahead of time and suggested combining the two over two days, in other words some history and tastings on each of the two days. This proved ideal as we were learning the nuances of the Burgundy wine district and lunching and tasting on both days. Tracy is very knowledgeable on both the history of the district and the wine industry.

“Wonderful wine tour”
Tracy was well-prepared, flexible, and delightful. She can ably guide tours for amateurs seeking an introduction to Bourgogne as well as sophisticated wine connoisseurs. She brought us to 3 vineyards of various locations and quality, and got us a taste of a grand cru at one of them. She offers local color and insight, including interesting perspectives on life and raising a family in this part of France. Despite the rain during our tour, we had a terrific time and learned a lot.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Burgundy, our hotel arranged for us to have a wine tour of the area through Burgundy by Request. It was the highlight of our trip! Our tour guide, Tracy Thurling, was wonderful! We visited the perfect number of wineries and enjoyed a lovely lunch. I definitely plan to call on Tracy next year when we return to the area.

Tracy organised and conducted a thoroughly enjoyable private wine tasting tour for our small party. We were particularly impressed with her knowledge, enthusiasm and easy, clear communication skills; as well as the care she took to tailor the visits and tastings to our specific requirements. The day included big hitting villages and domaines, however, we were delighted with an introduction to less well known (and affordable!) wines and growers, as we’d requested. We firmly recommend Tracy & will use again<
